Using another person for a rebound is incredibly selfish.

All you’re doing is satisfying your need for a relationship-like attention until you find someone else you’re really interested in. It’s just a way to feed your self-esteem, at the cost of someone else’s happiness and well-being. Focus on improving yourself as a person instead of dragging someone else into your emotional baggage. Don’t make someone believe you that you actually give a crap. It inevitably ends up breaking hearts.
